Mental Vs Physical
I think we can all agree that there is a certain degree of physicality when it comes to sports. Some sports, like football, require an extreme amount of physicality, where as a sport , like golf, requires less of the individual. Regardless being physically fit is a must when doing any sport. It is equally important as being mentally fit for the sport as well. Too often we find ourselves training physically for cheer. We make sure we can, dance, lift up other human beings, jump flip , roll you name it. It requires a high level of endurance and physicality, so who wouldn't train to get stronger , faster, lighter, and to jump higher. However with the importance that is put on being physically tough, we often put our mental training on the back burner. If you think about it, most , if not all, physical training requires some sort of mentality to get through. For instance, when running laps our body gives tel tell signs of getting tired.
